It was nice to see Gero Hütter is being honored (full article) for having successfully - and accidentally - cured an American man from HIV. Virus, still gone, three years on.

Gero Hütter is the German physician from Berlin who performed a bone marrow transplant to treat a patient's leukemia and cured both of the patient's conditions. Who knew leukemia (treatment) could have this kind of upside?
