Thanks to Shawn's blog on Poz.com which brought this to my attention. News of this South Park character's plight (or anyone else's for that matter) does not leave indifferent. Shawn's blog makes a valid point about the state of hiv funding too.
Does this episode of South Park answer these burning questions:
Is it possible to laugh at HIV?
Is it possible to laugh at public health policies?
Is it just funny?
On this side of the Atlantic we will have to wait before we see this episode on TV but in the meantime you can catch up with this episode and others online:

Just a short clip below
Like you, I was diagnosed with HIV. Almost fifteen years on, I've never been healthier. Let's stay positive and let's beat HIV and AIDS together. IMPORTANT: I am not qualified to give advice on HIV/AIDS treatment. Don't make treatment decisions on anything you see here. Remain critical at al times especially if someone claims hiv/aids doesn't exist or they have found a cure for it. They are lying to you (and to themselves).
